It all started when a world traveling Chef and culinary instructor decides to put an end to his gypsy ways and make Hog Town his home. He soon meets a downtown big city foodie with a love of travel and all things epicurean.
As they eat their way through eclectic neighborhoods and discover Toronto's vibrant culinary scene, they cook up a recipe that will allow them to share this with others. Drawing on her local knowledge and his diverse travel, cooking and teaching background, the ideas simmer.
They seek out the value for money joints, and try to avoid the tourist traps. They spend time together in the kitchen concocting new and exciting cooking classes. Their food crusade leads them to develop unique adventures from mushroom foraging to canoe trips with a gourmet twist.
They wanted to create a different kind of food experience for both locals and visitors alike. An adrenaline rush for foodies...where food becomes the main attraction. In the end, their passion for food boils over and thus "The Culinary Adventure Company" was born.
Whether it is a cooking class, an urban expedition tour, a corporate team building event, a culinary adventure in the sky or a private tour...we strive to give you culinary memories that linger long after the sensations on your taste buds have passed...
A Few Memorable Moments...........

On the hunt with NASCAR champion Richard Childress for record whitetails in Iowa. |
Chef Scott is a world traveled culinary professional, beginning his journey as a young boy in his Mother’s kitchen. His travels have led him from his native Atlantic Canada through Montreal, Italy, Portugal, New Zealand and several US locations. He worked as a private Chef in many of these locales, most often at 5-star hunting and fishing lodges where he rubbed shoulders with many celebs. He can cook anything….like New Zealand Red Stag, anywhere…..like 2,700 ft up the side of a mountain….and his passions trend to wild game and seafood (a throwback to his Maritime roots). He finally settled in Toronto, and along with his partner Tania, is passionate about showing travelers the ‘real’ city in all its glorious and tasty diversity and helping locals see their home through a new lense. They hope to see you on a Culinary Adventure soon!!
